Course Description

Incorporating Active Learning in eLearning introduces participants to key concepts of constructivism and how these can be incorporated to create an active learning environment. Through the workshop, participants will be asked to explore the impact of implementing active learning assessments, recognize active learning assessment strategies, and consider strategies to address student preparation and motivation. 

Learner Outcomes

After completing this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the elements of constructivism and how to apply these to create an active learning environment. 
  • Explore the benefits and challenges of implementing active learning assessments. 
  • Recognize active learning assessment strategies. 
  • Identify strategies to address student preparation and motivation. 

Notes
