Operators routinely run routine tests to monitor and adjust the treatment process, ensuring the plant operates at optimal efficiency. This intensive course will equip participants with the practical skills needed to operate everyday wastewater laboratory equipment. Students will engage in learning that blends theory, hands-on, and troubleshooting. Interactive labs will emphasize the proper use of equipment and follow‑up with hands to reinforce knowledge. 

Learner Outcomes

  • Recognize the responsibilities of wastewater treatment plant when sampling, analyzing, and interpreting control tests
  • Identify safe operating procedures, proper sampling, and laboratory testing techniques
  • Summarize the basic biology, chemistry, mathematics, processes associated with wastewater treatment
