Students will learn the applied aspects of the knowledge necessary for you to operate daily use wastewater lab equipment. Unlike our traditional classroom-based courses, you will be expected to participate in several hands-on learning activities, and a scenario-based quiz.

Learner Outcomes

  • Recognize the responsibilities of wastewater treatment plant when sampling, analyzing, and interpreting control tests
  • Identify safe operating procedures, proper sampling, and laboratory testing techniques
  • Summarize the basic biology, chemistry, mathematics, processes associated with wastewater treatment
