Course Outline
Survey and inspection is an integral part of a well managed cross-connection program. Participants will tour two local facilities to learn how to identify appropriate methods to prevent backflows for isolation and containment, review new construction plans to eliminate cross-connections, and conduct a field survey demonstrating how to inspect for cross-connections.
An exam is administered on day two of the course and those individuals who successfully pass will be certified Cross-Connection Control Inspectors by the UF/TREEO Center. This is part two of the Program Manager series.
To register for this course, you must either be a Certified Backflow Prevention Tester or have successfully completed the course Introduction to Backflow.
Daily breaks are provided. There is a one hour lunch break but lunch will not be provided so please make arrangements.
Learner Outcomes
