Course Description

Offered by Southeastern National Tuberculosis Center, this course was designed for physicians. The 3-week course covers the foundations of LTBI: evaluation of TB infection, diagnosis and diagnostic tools, targeted testing as an essential TB prevention strategy, treatment of LTBI, factors that increase the risk of progression from latent to active disease, and management of adverse events. This online blended course includes live interactive sessions conducted via Zoom weekly (2.5 hours) and pre-recorded lectures and activities completed on your own before and after the live session (~3 hours).
