Course Description

Offered by Southeastern National Tuberculosis Center, this 3-week course was designed for healthcare providers new to TB and covers all aspects of tuberculosis diagnosis and treatment. This includes application of the current guidelines for the diagnosis, treatment, management, and prevention of tuberculosis; identification of populations at high risk for LTBI and TB disease and strategies to target these populations; discussion of the roles of multidisciplinary healthcare providers in providing effective TB care.  This online blended course includes weekly live interactive sessions (2.5 hours) conducted via Zoom and pre-recorded lectures and activities completed on your own before and after the live session (~3 hours).
