Requirements for Nitrous Oxide

Before enrollment:

Students are required to receive nitrous oxide as part of their training. Pregnant women are exempt from this requirement but can still participate in this course

Once enrolled:

  • Check email for "Continuing Dental Education Receipt" containing link to sign up for an online learning platform
  • Complete the following on the online learning platform: 
  1. Purchase and Read Textbook (requires participant purchase) – “Handbook of Nitrous Oxide and Oxygen Sedation, 5e” by Morris Clark and Ann Burnick. Amazon
  2. HIPPA Quiz
  3. Print paperwork under the "Print & Bring to Class" section under the Classwork Tab. This includes the pre-test that needs to be completed and brought to class.

Any steps missing the week of the course may result in withholding your certificate
