Course Description

Intro to Cloud Data Analytics for Health Services Research, asynchronous course materials and modules will support independent structured learning and engagement in the following training activities.

  • Hands-On Training: Actively engage with R, R Studio, and Google Colab through structured exercises.
    Collaborative Research: Work on an individual health services analytic project, contributing to the development of a scientific abstract.
  • Skill Development: R programming, Google Colab, coding, abstract writing, data analysis, and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Learner Outcomes

  • Describe the role of local and cloud computational tools such as R and Google Colab in supporting health services research and data analysis.
  • Analyze and interpret health data sets using a reproducible R code.
  • Explore and summarize research findings using peer support strategies.
  • Develop a scientific abstract addressing a research question based on the national health survey data
