209 - When TB is the Least of Their Worries: Mini-Course Series
Course Description
Offered by Southeastern National Tuberculosis Center, this series examines the many challenges patients may encounter in conjunction with TB disease and infection and will help participants develop the skills to identify and manage medical, socioeconomic, and mental health needs using a patient centered approach. Designed to meet the needs of busy public health professionals, this series is online, self-paced, and broken into 9 modules lasting between 1 - 1.75 hours. The following topics are included:
- TB & Corrections (Connie Haley, MD; 1 hour)
- TB & Unstably Housed (Sapna Morris, MD, MBA and Bobby Watts, MPH, MS; 1.25 hours)
- TB & Refugees (Susan Maloney, MD, MHS; Dr. Susan Cookson, MD, MPH, and Allison Hoskins, BSHP; 1.25 hours)
- TB & Immigration (Drew Posey, MD, MPH; 1 hour)
- TB & Human Trafficking (Michael Lauzardo, MD, MPH; 1.25 hours)
- TB & Drug Interactions (Melissa Badowski, PharmD, MPH; 1.75 hours)
- TB & HIV (Beth Gadkowski MD, MPH; 1.5 hours)
- TB & Diabetes (Richard Brostrom, MD-MSPH; 1.5 hours)
- TB & Opioids (Thomas Dobbs, MD, MPH; 1.25 hours)
