Course Description

Upon successful completion of the course:

Students will be able to understand the legal requirements for providing healthcare advocacy and assistance with remote care modalities.
They will demonstrate understanding of different classes of remote patient care tools, including remote patient monitoring devices and synchronous and asynchronous telehealth devices.
After completion of this course, students will be able to facilitate synchronous and asynchronous telehealth encounters and relay clinical information between patients and providers.
