Course Description
The Biotechnology Aptitude and Competency Exam (BACE) is an industry-recognized exam that evaluates essential skills and knowledge in bioscience. To ensure proper administration of the BACE, all exam site personnel must be certified annually through Biotility's BACE Personnel Certification Course. This course provides role-specific training and certification for individuals involved in the exam process. To participate, personnel must complete their certification at least two weeks before the scheduled exam. This course ensures that all exam site personnel are fully equipped to uphold the integrity and standards of the BACE administration.

General: Exam Site Personnel should review the appropriate BACE Exam Site Personnel Certification Process before enrolling for this course. The documents contain crucial information about the certification process, time commitment, and roles required for administering the BACE.

Course Format: Each module contains role-specific training, a quiz, a Certificate of Understanding, and a Non-Disclosure Agreement.

To access your course after enrollment, please click the link below.
Click the blue “Log in to Continuing Education” button and enter your login credentials (be sure to use the same third-party credentials you entered during enrollment). You should then see your course on the UF e-Learning dashboard or by clicking Courses>All Courses.
Please note, it is common practice to enroll in multiple courses or sections in order to access all online content relevant to your program. However, you will only create one UF account once (during your first enrollment).
Requirements for Successful Course Completion
Participants must complete the relevant module and pass the associated BACE Exam Site Personnel Quiz for each role they perform. Quizzes are open book, with a passing score of 90% or higher required. Upon completion, a digital certificate is issued instantly, and Biotility Client Service is notified.
