  • This 2-hour on-site compliance training course meets the required annual refresher requirements for Asbestos: Awareness (Class IV) under OSHA Construction Industry Standard 29 CFR 1926.1101 for workers performing asbestos Class IV operations (maintenance and custodial) that may involve contact with asbestos-containing materials (ACM) or potentially asbestos-containing materials (PACM). It is also for persons who clean up ACM- or PACM-containing waste and debris resulting from Class I, II, and III work activities.
  • The course includes the OSHA Construction Industry Standard 29 CFR 1926.1101 as it relates to maintenance workers (Class IV employees), Regulatory Review, History and Health Effects, Housekeeping and Maintenance requirements, Facility Operations & Maintenance program 
  • Participant must be present for entire course time to receive CEUs and a Certificate of Attendance.
  • An annual refresher course is required by OSHA. 

Learner Outcomes

This course is for workers performing Class IV operations (maintenance and custodial) that may involve contact with asbestos-containing materials (ACM) or potential asbestos-containing materials (PACM). It is also for persons who clean up ACM and PCM waste and debris.
