- This half-day 4-hour course is held in the afternoon following the required Asbestos Refresher Inspector course in the morning
- The course focuses on the management planner’s role in asbestos hazards assessment, response actions and operations and maintenance programs
- This course has been approved by the EPA and the State of Florida for persons wishing to receive Reaccreditation. To be reaccredited, you must provide proof of having successfully completed the initial EPA-approved training course and any annual refresher courses in the discipline in which you seek reaccreditation. If your initial and refresher course certificates were not issued by UF TREEO, you must email a copy of your initial and last refresher certificates to our registrar, Kady Morris kadymorris@treeo.ufl.edu , to be verified before the class begins.
- Daily breaks are scheduled
- Participant must be present for entire course time to receive CEUs and a Certificate of Reaccreditation
- Required Exam: 25 Question Multiple-Choice/Closed Book with a 70% or higher to pass
- An annual refresher course is required for re-accreditation

Prerequisites
You must provide proof of having completed an EPA-approved AHERA/ASHARA Inspector Course prior to registration to be eligible for reaccreditation as a Management Planner.
Note: According to the Florida Asbestos Licensure Statute (F.S. 469.013(1)(a)) and FBPR: Asbestos Licensing Unit, all Asbestos Management Planners must complete both a two-day Asbestos Management Planning course and a three-day Asbestos Project Designer course. Accreditation in both disciplines is required to develop asbestos abatement schedules and operations and maintenance plans.
