This course covers methods for implementation or improvement of a company's safety program. The seven core elements of safety and health programs will be reviewed along with developing strategies, techniques, and action plans to effectively manage the safety program. Special attention will be paid to the development of a positive safety culture within an organization. Upon completion of the course, students will have the ability to develop, implement, and manage safety and health programs for their company. 

Learner Outcomes

At the end of this course students will be able to:

  • Utilize hazard identification & assessment
  • Define the elements of a safety culture
  • Evaluate your plant safety program
  • Provide communication and coordination in a safety training program
