You will be instructed by our most qualified educator, Jacob Simmons. Jacob was born and raised in the Gainesville area and graduated from the University of Florida in 2008. Prior to graduation he became a licensed Bondsman and has now been involved in this business for 15 years. During this time Jacob has managed offices in 3 Florida counties. Jacob has been teaching bail bonds courses since spring of 2018. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to: define and discuss key terms, be familiar with Florida Statutes Chapters 648 and 903 as well as the Administrative Rules of the Chief Financial Officer, discuss contracts, explain how the bail bond business operates legally and effectively, write and underwrite bonds, and explain how bondsmen are regulated in Florida.
