Course Description

This course provides PreK-12 school stakeholders with information on school safety efforts, instruction on using the Safe Schools for Alex School Safety Data Dashboard and website, and instruction on how to apply this information to educational policy and practice.

Notes

The earner of the UF School Safety Data badge completed a course through the University of Florida’s Education Policy Research Center in partnership with Safe Schools for Alex centered on school safety data. They have a fundamental understanding of data literacy and how to leverage data to improve school safety efforts. Further, this earner recognizes the importance of school safety and how to apply this information to educational policy and practice.
