778149 - FUSION Research Experience: Jupyter Notebooks
Course Description
The Digital Imaging and Spatial Omics Research Experience using FUSION: HuBMAP-hosted Jupyter Notebook is a two-week, asynchronous research training initiative designed to introduce trainees and faculty to AI-enabled tools used in spatial-omics and biomedical data analysis within the HuBMAP workspace.
Participants will engage in two core components: hands-on exploration using the FUSION platform and a guided hypothesis generation challenge using Jupyter Notebook. The program provides a flexible, self-paced learning environment with structured activities that reflect real-world biomedical research workflows.
-
Hands-On Exploration: Engage with FUSION to visualize and explore spatial-omics data within the HuBMAP research workspace
-
Hypothesis Development: Use Jupyter Notebook to synthesize findings and develop a testable research hypothesis
-
Research Engagement: Complete guided activities reflecting interdisciplinary biomedical research approaches
-
Flexible Learning: Participate in asynchronous, structured learning with optional office hours
-
Analytical Reasoning: Build skills in data interpretation, visualization, and scientific reasoning
Learner Outcomes
