Course Description
AI Passport is an accessible training program that equips biomedical researchers and healthcare professionals to confidently integrate AI into their work. Designed for all technical backgrounds, the program uses real-world biomedical data, practical case studies, and minimal-to-no-coding tools. Through flexible asynchronous coursework, live community sessions, and mentorship from AI faculty and coaches, learners build the skills to responsibly apply AI in research and clinical practice.

Thank you for registering for the Spring 2027 cohort of AI Passport! We are excited to have you join us. Below is an overview of the program.
SPRING 2027 PROGRAM DETAILS
Onboarding Week: January 11–15, 2027
Modules Begin: January 19, 2027
UF Spring Break: March 13–20, 2027
Program End / Project Showcase: April 21, 2027
During onboarding week, you will:
- Attend a technical orientation call on Tuesday, January 12
- Join the faculty welcome call on Friday, January 15
- Be matched with a personal mentor for your Impact Project
The program runs for 14 weeks, with live program activities paused during UF’s Spring Break, March 13–20. Modules will be available beginning January 18 and will remain open through April 21, giving you the flexibility to work through the content at your own pace. Completing all modules earns 77 CME credits or 7.7 continuing education units (CEUs).
Throughout the program, each module is supported by:
- Office hours with faculty for questions and guidance
- A live community call for group discussion and engagement
The program is fully online, completely free, and requires no prior AI or coding experience.
